Wed, Jun 3, 2026. Our big family (16 of us total) signed up for the Adventures in Paradise dolphin tour (10-1130am). Quick drive over the Causeway from Sanibel to the staging area. Nice big parking area and super easy check-in, and then we were off (about 15mins early) through the Punta Rassa Cove to the Caloosahatche River area. Plenty of seating area under the shade, but then we moved around the boat later. We were about 30mins into the tour when our Boat Captain Art and 1st Mate Tom found our first dolphins. Tom was also our Naturalist and was a wealth of useful and interesting information (about the area, the local wildlife, history, and more). We were even more fortunate to find a baby dolphin and its mother and spent a lot of time watching and enjoying them. The baby swam around our boat several times, and as Tom pointed out, exhibited some rarely-seen behaviors and actions! Also got to see an osprey fly overhead with a fish (lunch!) in its claws (see pic). Before heading back, we did a drive under the Causeway (saw several pelicans diving for fish). Pretty cool to see the bridge, and the Sanibel Lighthouse, from the water! If you have a chance, definitely check out this tour - it's reasonably priced, a great value for your money, and lots of fun. They also offer Military/Veteran Discounts so be sure to call about that. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic time on the Shells and Dolphin tour on Saturday! The 9:00 AM departure was the perfect way to start the morning. We were lucky enough to see several pods of dolphins playing in the water, which was a huge highlight. The shelling portion of the trip was even better than expected. The crew took us to a great, secluded spot where I found an amazing variety of shells, including several Fighting Conchs, shiny Lettered Olives, and Lightning Whelks! Everything was well-organized and the staff was very knowledgeable. It was easily the highlight of my trip to the area. Highly recommend Adventures in Paradise!

Very nice cruise. My parents and I had a wonderful sunset experience. Tom and Steven took great care of us throughout the tour. We especially appreciated Tom’s excellent narration and Steven’s great boat handling skills. Thank you both for making the trip so enjoyable. Attached are a few photos of the beautiful scenery we enjoyed during today’s cruise.

We had the pleasure of joining the cayo costa shelling cruise and it far exceeded our expectations! Captain Evan and first mate Matt were very hospitable, took photos for everyone on board to document their trip, helped everyone on and off the boat and even set up individual spots on the beach for us with complimentary umbrellas and chairs! These guys definitely went above and beyond for their passengers, And an added bonus of taking us on a detour to see some dolphins on our way back in! 10/10 would book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice cruise on the water!

Each year when we ask our children what they want to do during our Sanibel stay, without hesitation they say Shelling tour with Adventures in Paradise and each year memories are made! Our vacation this time around we took two adventures! Shelling with lunch at Cabbage Key with Matt and Evan and the Sunset Dolphin and Wildlife cruise with Steve and Tom! Both cruises were so much fun and offered great laughs and information about the island and the wildlife that call Sanibel home. If you get the chance to visit, we would highly recommend Adventures in Paradise! From the many adventures to the incredible customer service, you will only love the island more! Thank you to Matt, Evan, Tom, and Steve for all that you do and for making our vacation full of unforgettable memories! We will see you next year!
