Loved this place! It was my first time coloring my virgin hair, and Has and her amazing assistants made the whole experience so comfortable. They explained everything, took great care of my hair, and the results came out even better than I expected. My hair feels healthy, the color is beautiful, and the team was so welcoming and professional. Definitely recommend this salon!

Fourteen years ago, I walked into Bokaos Aveda with a broken heart and box-dyed black hair. I was in a dark place, barely able to look at myself in the mirror. All I saw was “the other woman,” and it shattered me every time. I desperately needed to go lighter—not just for my hair, but for my spirit. I needed to feel worthy of love and happiness again. Other stylists had refused to touch my hair, or the cost was simply out of reach as a single mom. But the moment I stepped into the salon, I felt something shift. Peace. When I walked out, I felt confident, renewed, and—most importantly—hopeful. Now, fourteen years later, history is repeating itself in the best way. I had a wonderful experience with Hasblady today. I had gone to her for 5 years (when I lived in Pasadena) and ALWAYS loved everything she did to my hair. After 5 years with Has, I moved 2 hrs away from the salon and I have not been able to find a hairstylist even comparable to Has. I made the decision to start driving to see Hasblady. It’s worth the drive to see her and she is amazing! ❤️ very happy with my decision!
