They described the whole process in the way that my mother could understand. They were efficient and timely and very affordable. Don, Julie and the while Team at Englewood Funeral Home made an extremely difficult time so much easier when my parents passed within 2 days of each other. I am so glad that my parents had the foresight to pre-plan and have their final arrangements all decided and payed for prior to their passing. My wife passed away from leukemia on Feb 12 and I met with Donald one of the directors at ECFH on Feb 13. He was extremely compassionate and took the time to explain every option and step to carry out her wishes of being cremated. He handled all of the necessary state and federal government forms and offered guidance on what to do and where to go in regard to the State of Florida. He filed electronically all of the federal forms. Excellent service during a very deep sorrowful period in one's life. Highly recommend this furneral home.
Englewood Community Funeral Home was wonderful to work with during this very difficult & sad time with my husbands passing. David & Don took care of all the details -- they were amazing with their service & handled everything required to make it all a beautiful & caring memory for me & my family. I thank everyone there who were caring, kind & helpful.
ECFM was a result of Mom’s decision for final arrangements. Our family used this service when Dad passed years ago as well. After Mom passed, we met with Don who couldn’t have shown more sympathy or empathy as he also recently suffered the loss of a loved one. He patiently explained our options and answered questions we had. As we continue to grieve Moms loss it was a comfort in having Englewood Community Funeral Home manage her funeral services.
