I am a licensed stylist, with at least decent men’s cutting skills. I’m able to ask for what I want, but in this case, I’ve transitioned to a new routine and needed direction. I am a client, not a stylist, in the chair. First, I asked my stylist, MJ, if she’d rather have total creative permission or some guide rails, because I was looking for change. She was honest. She didn’t want the pressure of open permission on first meeting, smart, but she had my total trust. She asked me what I was thinking. Consultation is the key to any successful outcome and she nailed it. The rest of the service was expedient, professional, meticulous, and everything I knew trusting her would deliver. I’ll update with photos when I achieve the end result. It’s in a transitional phase and isn’t going to tell the right story, but my blending is perfect, and my beard and mustache are date night ready. I’ll be back for additional services with MJ, whenever my schedule and hers allows, she’s rightfully booked pretty steady, but accessible with 1-2 week lead time. I was lucky to get MJ with 2 day lead time, this service. My $40-60 price included a beard a mustache trim, precision haircut, which includes a custom shampoo and hot towel neck treatment. That price included $15 tip.

I was scheduled for a haircut and blow out at 9am on Saturday. At 7am, I got text from the stylist that do to a medical issue she wouldn't be in. I still wanted the service as I had a funeral and a graduation to go to. She said she was sure the salon could accommodate me so I arrived on time. Upon check in I was told that they did not have anyone as the owner didn't think I actually needed a haircut since I was there the week before. I was there the week before with both of my daughters. No one bothered to call me. The owner once again assumed he knew better. I say once again because this is the 3rd scheduling issue I've had here where someone went in and changed our appointments. I get things happen but it's the complete lack of courtesy. A simple phone call would have saved me a lot of hassle and aggravation on a busy and emotional day.

MJ is very attentive to my needs. She has only been cutting my hair for a few months but I definitely plan to keep going to see her. She does a good job every time. The other staff members that I have interacted with have all been very pleasant and friendly.

First time at this location. Sabrina is an excellent stylist. Listened to my needs/wants and did a great job. Highly recommend her and this location. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Great cappuccino too!
