I had been looking into adding an addition to my family for a while but I wanted to make sure I took the time to find the perfect fit. I contacted them about a couple of dogs I had seen on their website and they invited me in for a meet and greet with them. While walking through the shelter we decided to come back a couple different times to have a few different meet and greets. After about a week they helped us find the perfect fit for our family and from start to finish it was an amazing experience. They take amazing care of their animals, make sure they send you home completely prepared with a follow up vet visit completely covered by them, food, etc. I know from our experience it can be a nightmare going through a shelter but I cannot express how grateful we are for this one. If you are looking into adopting I highly recommend them! This is our Buck
This shelter clearly cares a lot about the animals they look after and place for adoption. We adopted the sweetest little guy from here a few weeks ago, and he's been such a great addition to our home. He's settled in really well and gets along wonderfully with our other cat. The facility itself is clean, and the adoption process felt both efficient and thorough. All of the staff and volunteers are lovely people to be around. Thank you all for letting us bring our sweet baby Burger (yes, his name is Burger!) home ❤️
We went in about a month ago to see a dog that we were interested in online and the experience far exceeded my expectations. One thing I noticed immediately was all of the dogs seemed really happy which isn’t common for most shelters I’ve been to. The kennels were clean and they had blankets/toys and little beds to sleep on. They all seemed to be really well taken care of. All the staff we spoke to were very knowledgeable about every dog they did a great job at explaining exactly the kind of care they needed and were very honest about what their weaker qualities were which made me feel confident that I could trust them to help us make a decision. The particular dog we came to see was Mya a 3 year old who we were told had a bite history and had been returned but is typically a very sweet girl. When we approached her kennel she was barking and growling which to be honest made us feel like she might be a little more aggressive than we thought. We spoke to 3 different staff members who encouraged us to just meet with Mya in the open yard as she reacts better when she’s not behind the cage. They were absolutely right, she was the sweetest most adorable little bean and we immediately fell in love. I am very thankful that they advocated for her and for all of the other dogs because she has been such a blessings. She is a spunky girl with a big personality and as I have learned that when she gets excited she does get a little nibbly lol but we are working on it and it’s not aggressive she is just learning how to play. Kudos to this pet shelter for doing an amazing job and really caring about what they do, these animals are blessed to be surrounded by such knowledgeable and attentive staff. If you’re thinking about adopting from here I encourage you to take a trip ❤️
When I arrived at the shelter the staff were all attending other adopters and very busy. Shortly after I was greeted and was asked if I had interest in someone in particular. I was looking for Mika but she was in the process of getting adopted. They told me where the cats were and I went on the search for my new companion! I decided on Thomas Cheddison and I waited for my turn for the process. The process was quick and easy and in no time I was walking out with Tommy. His name had to change lol. I am so happy with him and he is very happy in his new home with us. Super sweet boy and very well behaved! Thank you to all the staff for making a difference! Keep up the great work!
