I went to this clinic because I had a severely painful tooth, and they recommended a root canal and crown, which seemed reasonable to me at the time, so I agreed. I expected it to take one or two visits and be done. Instead, I ended up going back and forth for 6–7 months. What happened is that the original tooth pain did eventually go away, but then I started having a different problem; it became painful and basically impossible to chew on that same tooth. So while one issue improved with this tooth, another one started that significantly affected my bite and daily function. They made several attempts to adjust the crown and figure out what was going on. When those adjustments didn’t work, they moved forward with a root canal on the neighboring tooth, which I felt was unnecessary and not clearly justified at the time. In my opinion, that was an unethical step. Even after that procedure, the problem still wasn’t resolved. Eventually, after multiple visits, continued adjustments, and crown replacements, it became clear that the issue was actually with the crown itself. Now I don’t feel any pain when I bite down on that tooth, but sometimes it cuts my tongue when I move it while talking even after trying to address the issue. Also my neighboring tooth still doesn’t feel comfortable when I bite down Throughout the process, there was never a clear or confident diagnosis. It felt more like trial and error over a long period of time rather than a clear treatment plan. Another red flag is that when I first started visiting this clinic, I asked for a full evaluation of my dental health. I was initially told that getting everything “healthy” would cost around $30,000 based on their exam and X-rays. When I said that was too expensive, the estimate was later reduced to $15,000 after discussion, without any clear explanation for what changed. That inconsistency was concerning. After getting a second opinion from another dentist, I was told my treatment could be done for around $2,000 and that the root canals and crowns recommended here were not necessary in my case. I’m now paying extra to fix issues from the treatment I received at Hyline Clinic, along with dealing with unnecessary pain and wasted time. Another issue was the constant pressure to accept treatments like cleanings, etc., which at times felt more like a sales approach than a medical one. Overall, I didn’t feel the diagnosis or treatment plan was handled properly, and I strongly recommend getting a second or even third opinion before going forward with major procedures at this clinic. Finally, I would give 5 stars to a lady who works there named Melanie Valero. She is the only one who seems to know what she is doing.

I received excellent care at Hyline Dental. The office was very clean and comfortable. Dr. Khan, Dr. Shareef, Sammy, and the entire staff were professional, kind, and attentive throughout my root canal and other treatments. The procedure was virtually painless, and they addressed my concerns thoroughly. They helped me restore my healthy smile. Highly recommend.
