We had a friend visiting in Florida who is an avid fisherman. Indigenous Fishing Charters was recommended by a neighbor, so we booked a half-day trip. The other positive reviews on this site are spot on. We went after a cold snap reduced the water temperature which makes the fishing a bit more challenging, but Captain Tyler knows how to find fish and plus he is great guy who clearly loves what he does and is fun to deal with. We went to some of his favorite fishing holes and caught some really big redfish (30+ inches). We had a blast, and I would recommend Indigenous Fishing Charters to anyone looking for a productive fishing excursion.
Tyler Carner at Indigenous Fishing Chartres is an amazing charter boat captain. I have been fortunate enough to use his services over the last couple of years and Tyler never disappoints. You can count on a great day of fishing with him!! Looking forward to using his services the next time I am in Cape Coral
Always an incredible time fishing with Captain Tyler. We had a great time fishing off Sanibel and we’re able to catch some trophy sized snook, cobia, permit and redfish! You won’t be disappointed with Captain Tyler - he works hard to get you on fish!
I know numerous charter captains in the Fort Myers area. I also own my own robalo center consul but have chartered Tyler multiple times to really get into some heavy fishing Tyler not only is the most professional charter captain I have dealt with, but also very understanding to the people who are not as experienced as him. I have recommended him multiple times to friends who have used him and come back shaking their heads after an unbelievably great experience. Captain Tyler was absolutely awesome! My son and I went out with him targeting snook and redfish and Tyler put us on some giants. My son being only 6 years old had a blast. Tyler stepped in to help him when needed but also let him do his thing when he didn’t need the help reeling in some bigger fish. I went out with a few other captains the past couple years and Tyler got us hooked up with the biggest snook and redfish I’ve ever caught. I would definitely recommend Captain Tyler!
