We had an incredible afternoon at this Italian restaurant! The moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed. Our waiter went above and beyond—he even spoke to us in Italian, which made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely delicious, and every detail was handled with care. We left not only full but truly happy. We’ll definitely be back!
Went to La Pescheria for an early dinner and was very let down by the quality of the food. The fresh bread was the best part of meal and it was nice to get multiple servings. We started with burrata which was rather bland with over salted tomatoes on the side. The mussels were pretty good although we did not get our bread replenished fast enough to actually utilize the soup they came in. If the meal ended here I would have left maybe a bit unsatisfied but somewhat worth the money however the entrees changed that quickly. We ordered the Penne alla Norma, salmon and lobster ravioli (pictured). The penne had no redeeming qualities, the pasta was clearly from a box, undercooked and the sauce consisted of eggplant and mozzarella pieces crudely chopped up with some oversalted cherry tomatoes. There was nothing tying these elements together and you could hardly taste the eggplant. The lobster ravioli came with flecks of crab meat on top that actually had some flavor which was not the case of the ravioli themselves. I kept trying to taste the lobster however I couldn’t. The sauce was not bad but the dish could hardly be called “lobster” ravioli. The salmon pretty much tasted like a brick, the outside had a terrible taste and the inside was flavorless. At least the mashed potatoes were ok. Not worth the price.
We were just walking and shopping and dropped in for a light lunch. What a wonderful surprise for us. Just mussels and tuna tartare. The tuna fresh with avacado. The mussels divine. Perfect and the bread. Fabulous. For dipping in their unparalleled marinara. Whew. And last the cappuccino divine. Can’t wait to return to Derrick
Outstanding evening at La Pescheria, our favorite Naples authentic Italian seafood restaurant. Food is exceptional and the service even better. Francesco makes you feel like his own family and always takes such good care of us. So fun and a wonderful place to take family and friends. I would highly recommend.
My family and I went there yesterday for the first time and wowww. Everything was absolutely amazing, the food tastes so fresh and simply amazingly cooked. Our kids said their pasta was the best pasta ever. Our server Alex was super professional and sweet to our family. Highly recommend and would totally be back!
