⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly special place filled with beautiful memories Lowdermilk Beach / Lowdermilk Park will forever hold a special place in my heart. We chose this location for my sister’s Celebration of Life last week and it was absolutely perfect. It was also incredibly meaningful because 30 years ago, my mom and stepdad were married here, so this place has been part of our family’s story for decades. We started the celebration in one of the beautiful large gazebos surrounded by the open grassy field. It was the perfect setup — the kids had plenty of room to run and play, along with the playground/jungle gym, while the adults were able to gather comfortably. We decorated the gazebo, set up food and drinks at the picnic tables, and the space was large enough for about 50 people to come together for prayer, memories, and love. As the sun began to set, we moved down to the beach and released lanterns into the sunset. It was such a beautiful, peaceful, and unforgettable moment. The scenery, the atmosphere, and the feeling of being surrounded by family and friends made the entire experience more than I could have hoped for. The only downside is that the parking lot fills up quickly, especially during busy times, and the parking kiosk was a little difficult to navigate. Thankfully, I arrived early and was able to get a great parking spot with my beach parking permit, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Thank you, Lowdermilk Park, for providing such a beautiful place where we could celebrate a life, create new memories, and honor old ones. This location will always mean so much to our family. ❤️
Always a beautiful sunset stroll!! Parking is always busy… just be prepared and you will eventually get a spot! 💓

Great beach! The fact they have a paid parking lot is great! Plus the little snack shack and chair/umbrella rentals too.
