This was a fantastic experience. The owner David was accommodating and friendly. We booked the grand slam tour which is 4 hours. We had our 8 year old and 18 month old. It was the perfect amount of time. Any shorter would’ve felt like it wasn’t quite enough to experience everything we did. We went shelling, saw dolphins, saw a bobcat and did a ton of fishing. We caught a big variety of fish. We are so thankful to captain trevor who made the experience so pleasurable. We learned so much on our trip. This was our first time to Marco Island. It was a wonderful experience. I wouldn’t miss the opportunity. Thank you for the unforgettable memories!!!

When our grandkids turn 14 we take them on their own trip somewhere in the continental US with just us. Lincoln wanted to go fishing and shelling in Florida. I Googled companies and decided on Reel Kind. I am glad I did. Bonnie was great at creating a private tour just for us. Since the fishing was the main event I had to refuse sweet Dominic’s offer to go to another island since the one we were on had many shellers. But I loved the island was at such a negative tide and Lincoln was happy finding so many sand dollars. Dominic was such a nice and kind guide. I enjoyed his knowledge and enthusiasm. When we began the fishing part, Captain Trevor took us to an “island” made entirely of shells! Lincoln was catching lady fish right and left (with the first catch, a feisty Bonnethead shark), and I was in heaven looking for shells! Then he took Lincoln to many spots so he could get as many fish as possible on his rod. Captain Trevor was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience so much fun! Lincoln learned many great tips and truly had the best time. He said it was amazing and that’s quite a compliment from this quiet teenage young man! The owner of the company was a joy to work with. I totally recommend this company and if you are fishing…be sure and ask for Captain Trevor! You will have a wonderful time! Did I mention we saw at least 15 dolphins and one jumped in our wake! Soooo fun!

My husband and I picked to go out with Reel Kind for a shelling excursion based on Facebook comments and Google reviews and we were not disappointed. Bonnie was great to work with in booking the excursion, but Ryan was the absolute best. He was careful not to set any expectations because it’s shelling and you never know what you will find. But he was so courteous and caring. He never stopped walking, picking up shells to give to folks and asking if we needed water. He was considerate of nature and knowledgeable of the area and was great at helping us identify shells varieties we hadn’t seen before. He even helped me look for a flat scallop that was bucket list shell I was hoping to find and we did! It was a great 4 hour adventure. We are already planning another trip in the spring and will definitely request to go out with Ryan.

This was our third trip with Reel Kind and we were able to check off a few shells from our list! Captain Jim and First Mate Caitlin were excellent guides! Caitlin helped us plan a couple of other day trips to target other shells on our list and they paired off big time! Reel Kind For Life!!!

We are really glad we chose to take a charter with Reel Kind. It started with the phone reservation with Bonnie, who was caring, pleasant, and tailored a suitable trip for us according to our request and budget. I received the reservation details and all the relevant instructions for the trip by email, which were very useful. Our great experience continued with the mighty Captain Colt, who provided the best Shelling and Dolphin tour we could have asked for. Captain Colt was there to welcome us on time, and he was pleasant, environmentally conscious, great with the children, and demonstrated extensive knowledge about nature and the surrounding area. He made sure to give us adequate time to explore the islands. To our delight, the dolphins accepted his invitation to swim alongside the boat, giving us the most wonderful experience ever. I wholeheartedly recommend Reel Kind's service and trips in the ten thousend islands.
