Service: 3/5 Food: 3/5 Second time coming back to The Scratch Room. Had a great experience the first time and since me and my boyfriend was in Orange County, I decided we should come back for some breakfast here and I had mixed feelings. The server we initially had was amazing, she was so sweet and funny and checked in on us. Didn't catch her name but she was an older lady. She went on break, and the new server didn't check in on us, just came and dropped the check on the table and never came back. Didn't even get to ask if we needed any boxes to go. I ended up having to walk up to the counter to pay where another server had an attitude as well. She just told me to leave it on the table. No bye no thank you for dining with us just RBF. Food wise, it was good. $12 for a stack of pancakes seems steep but it was good. The Asada skillet was decent, the steak was a little bit on the cooked side than what I prefer. I liked that they were able to sub the beans for potatoes

I recently had the chance to eat at The Scratch Room, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable experience from start to finish. Went here for breakfast for the first time and I am so glad I found this spot. The food and service were top notch! I ordered the country eggs Benedict’s which uses their biscuits, sausage, and country gravey instead of traditional ham and holindaise sauce. It was so good. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the banana bread loaf that came with it was huge and delicious too. I also ordered the hungry man breakfast which came with pretty much everything and a full side of French toast. I ended up taking some of it home and having it the next morning. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I went on a weekday so it was not too busy but they had a row of chairs lined up outside the door so it might get busy on the weekends. Definitely worth coming to and I will be back again!

By far The Best Place for breakfast/bruncy/lunch homemade (Scratch) made with love food. We have been many times over the years and not once did anyone we shared this experience leave unhappy. We opted out of the Hash Browns(begrudgingly) for fruit. The customer service and teamwork the staff display to all their customers, makes each customer feel welcomed. Not to mention the Corned Beef Hash absolutely does not come from a can. And if you order the Banana Bread, ask them to please grill it! A "must try spot" if you like good food, served well and usually with some leftovers for later.

Okay this place was absolutely incredible. The food, service, and atmosphere were top notch! Girlfriend and I were out in Anaheim for a convention and made it a point to try and NOT stop at any chain places. This place absolutely blew our minds! I got the Mediterranean Skillet with the banana bread. Will def be back when back in Anaheim!
